The Villiers Mark VI C is a 147cc engine made in 1922-3, it was then superseded by the Mark VII C for 1923-4 & the Mark VIII C for 1924-34.
The Mark VI had a range of three engines with capacities of 150cc, 250cc & 350cc. The Patent, 201354-23, was granted to the Villiers Co. on Feb 8, 1923, it patents the way the fins radiate symmetrically on the cylinder head.
This range was produced in 1922/23.
The lamp is made from a post war vintage motorcycle or scooter headlight or possible used as a spotlight for a vintage car along the lines of a sunbeam or similar.
